There is a 1 3/4" piece that is folded down accross the front top, this is a very pretty dress. A size M measurements are from side to side across top 13" ,side to side across were the tie is 13 3/4", the straps are 3 1/2" tall (7" total) & front top of dress to the floor (not straps, actual dress) is 31".
